INFORMED INCIDENT RESPONSE … keeping drivers informed at a road traffic incident is an important factor in keeping the situation safe and under control. The IMOB has been designed as a combination device for Interactive deployment or semi permanent SFD deployment. The unit comes equipped with a portable tripod and carrying case and has three modes of operation.

Incident Response
The officer may deploy the IMOB from the trunk of the vehicle where he can select a number of appropriate pre programmed message alerts to be displayed. Example pre-programmed warning message library SEAT BELT, KIDS SAFE, HIGH WINDS, SLOW DOWN, CELL OFF.

Traffic Monitoring/RIDE programs
The officer may deploy the IMOB either on tripod or fixed to any appropriate street support post downstream from his location, the officer can monitor passing traffic and trigger the IMOB from a remote wireless hand held to provide advisory warnings where appropriate. This can be warnings such as SEAT BELT , KIDS SAFE , HIGH WINDS, SLOW DOWN, CELL OFF.

Speed Feedback Mode
The sign may be deployed as a semi permanent driver feedback sign providing drivers with speed readout and additional messages (See opposite). The IMOB is battery powered with both Vehicle outlet and AC charging options built in. the unit will operate for max 72 hours between charging.
